Kitty Pride is a game made on RPG Maker VX Ace, scheduled for release in early 2026 on GameJolt. It tells the story of the theft of Gatto Levigato's feelings by Nermal, a prehistoric beast brought into the modern world. The game contains the three story arcs Gatto's feelings, Preying Rabbit and Emperor of the beasts.

Characters

Protagonists

  • Gatto Levigato - An aristocratic cat who has had her feelings stolen by Nermal and spends the game trying to get them back, one by one, with the help of Drake, her boyfriend.
  • Drake Biggs - An overweight fox cook and Gatto's boyfriend, accompanying her on her adventure to recover the emotions stolen by Nermal.
  • Bakura Fragola - A crying bat that Drake and Gatto rescued at the very beginning of the game, at Flightown she joined them and never left them afterwards, she has problems with her father.
  • Joly Biggs - A female wolf with the power to restore things to a previous state in time. She stole Mai from Magus to raise him instead.
  • Mai Coccolo - A rabbit, the son of Magus Marthym and Borealis Coccolo, and adopted son of Joly Biggs. He's looking for his father.

Antagonists

  • Nermal - A prehistoric beast that got back into the modern era and stole Gatto's feelings to putting them into some of her loved ones for entertainment, but the group eventually confronted him to return home.
  • SkullCat - A zombie cat and Nermal's most devoted servant, born when Nermal swallowed a flesh star during the Jurassic period, he taught him to hunt and speak.
  • Fineas - A mouse who was domesticated by Gatto's parents when he was very young, he bonded with Gatto but eventually ran away, Nermal made him Gatto's nostalgia.
  • The fear - A feeling that first appears in Flightown, Gatto's group first hears about him from his five sons, then eventually confronts him on the train of tears. It was created by Fineas' powers.
  • Magus Marthym - A hare, Mai Coccolo's biological father. He seeks revenge on Joly for stealing his son to raise him herself, and destroys his family by framing him as a murderer.
  • The anxiety - A minor feeling of Gatto's. it first appears in Wolftown when Mai reunites with his father, it was created by Fineas' powers.
  • Nao Fragola - Bakura's abusive father, he has the power to turn energy into light.
  • Julia RockLiger - An historic figure in the wolf country, known for her numerous analyses of the speed of light, her theories on the limit of magic and the allegory of the camera. She was serving Nermal for some time.

Neutral and minor characters

  • The sons of the fear - Five children who live in Flightown and are mistreated by their father, whom they seek to get rid of.
  • Romi Wedge - A maine coon cat lawyer who was trained to the profession by Joly Biggs, he defended Magus during the trial of his son's death, and deliberately decided not to corner Joly when he had the chance.
  • The doubt - An aristocratic sphinx, devoted to his family with every fiber of his being, and was originally destined to marry Gatto, but the marriage was called off when Gatto murdered her parents. He has a sister, Leona Florimet.
  • Leona Florimet - Bonamy's older sister, she intervenes very briefly when the group is at Kitty Central to ask Mai and Gatto to help her get her brother out of his family's clutches.
  • Borealis Coccolo - Mai Coccolo's biological mother and Magus Marthym's wife. She appears in the game for a side quest in which Mai finds her and befriends her.
  • King Tiger - The manager of the Flightown gym, a tiger who likes to see others exercise and hosts one of the Sons of Fear when Gatto's group comes to town.
  • Lucia Nifty - A vixen microbiologist who lives in a laboratory in wolf country. She wants to find a way to grant magic to those who have not received it. She's the focus of a side quest in Kitty Pride.
  • Lune - A female pigrita, and Drake's childhood pet. Joly had to get rid of it because of the danger it presented.
  • Maria Mustela - A skunk who runs a perfume shop in Flightown.
  • Mia Mackat - A large python who runs a pancake agency in a forest in the cat country. She studies the philosophy of crushing, and seeks to crush every material and object on the planet at least once, she's half-way through.
  • Nessie - A pleiosaurus that cryptozoologists found washed up off the beaches of the wolf country and locked away in a fish tank dedicated to him. He is the focus of a side quest in Kitty Pride, and is the superboss of the game.
  • Rya Koon - A young raccoon who loves horror stories and has a fascination for strange things and people. She's the main character in a side quest where she tries to become stronger to take part in a tournament in the wolf country, and Drake helps her.
  • Savaj - A chimera hybrid between a rabbit and a tiger who lives in Flightown alongside King Tiger, for whom he manages the gym.
  • Yane Haina - A hyena and Maria Mustela's best friend. Her sense of smell is reversed, and she finds bad smells exquisite.
