The Emperor of the Beasts arc is Kitty Pride's final arc, telling how after Magus's defeat, Gatto's group recovered their last feelings and went to confront Nermal to return home.

Detailled scenario
The group recovers Gatto's last feelings at Kitty Central
After Magus's defeat, Gatto's group leave Catty woods and reach Kitty Central, where Doubt attacks them, but is immediately overpowered by Drake. Drake with Bakura takes Doubt to a restaurant to chat, but Doubt summons the ghost of Bakura's father, which terrifies her and causes her to run away. Drake finds her, and together they confront Nao.
Gatto unexpectedly recovers her joy, and understands that Joly was actually her joy and just died because of Nermal, she consoles Drake as best she can. The group spends the night in a B&B in Kittycentral, during which Gatto dreams of Joly and has a long talk with her in heaven.
The group confronts Nermal
The group return to where Gatto awoke at the very start of their adventure and climb up to sub space, where Nermal awaits them, who takes her feelings back from Gatto, and forces her to kill her loved ones herself in order to get them back. Afterwards, she is terrified as she imagines what her life will be like now that she has no one but Nermal, who then chooses to teleport with her to the original planet from which Gatto and her loved ones came, where they land alone in an empty forest.
Only Drake, Bakura and Mai come back from the dead thanks to Joly, who can use her powers from heaven. As Nermal is unable to get rid of Gatto's relatives because they return every time they die, he erupts in rage and flees.
