Pigrita
Pigritas are titanic woolly superpredator whose appearance is halfway between a rabbit and a sheep. They are omnivorous, but mainly eat plants.
They are known for their colorful, fruity-tasting milk, as well as for the way they hunt by trampling their prey. They can have various wool and eye color. But Pigritas typically are grey/blue with bright red eyes.
Some call them the tyrannosaurs of the modern era, since when it comes to naming a living member of the megafauna, they are usually the first to come to mind. They live mainly in the many wool forests spread across the cat country along with other wooly animals.
Domestication of pigritas
Ever since cats arrived on the continent, Pigritas approached houses and became attached to the people without even the need for domestication. Some pigritas straight up acted as guardians of cat villages, protecting the inhabitants.
Thanks to this endearing attachment, and for other reasons, such as the enormous amount of wool their tail produce, or their fruity-tasting milk, a few decades ago, attempts were made to domesticate pigritas in the cat country, but this was prohibited after many cats were trampled by their pigrita.
Hunt
Pigritas are dangerous man-eaters. They hunt by stomping on their preys multiple times until they're flat, only then do they swallow them in one go without chewing. This way of hunting is very similar to that of certain dinosaurs.
Relation between fur and milk
The color of pigritas' wool generally indicates the taste of their milk.
Wool color | Milk taste |
---|---|
Red | Cherry, raspberry |
Blue | Strawberry |
Yellow | Banana |
Purple | Grapes |
Green | Melon or apple |
White | Green grapes |
