Side quests are stories that run parallel to the game, which players can follow if they wish. They adapt short stories for each character.
Kitty Pride's side quests
- Full Moon - Drake reunites with Lune, his pigrita, and has to face up to the fact that he can't take care of her and release her again.
- The wolf tournament - Drake trains Rya to take part in a tournament in wolf country, she is turned down because she is not a wolf, but ends up taking part anyway, with Drake's help.
- Borealis - Mai is reunited with his real mother, Borealis, and must deal with the impact Joly's death has had on her, as Joly was secretly looking after her until now.
- Fight at the gym - Mai goes to the Flightown gym to see what's become of Savaj and to have a fight with him.
- Always something worse - Bakura unintentionally offends a skunk and tries to apologize.
- Friendly lab lab - Gatto's group meets Lucia, who is trying to create a drug to develop magical powers in someone.
- Aquatic monster - Nessie is found on a beach and Mia tries to find someone stronger than him in case things go wrong.
